Why  Bozeman: "It doesn't get much more scenic than Bozeman, Mont., a picturesque college town nestled between four mountain ranges and located just  90 minutes from Yellowstone National Park. A paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, Bozeman boasts easy access to world-class skiing, fishing, hiking, rafting, and more."

"ft also offers a charming downtown area and a surprisingly vibrant cultural scene, thanks to the presence of Montana State University and a number of art and music events like the annual Sweet Pea Festival."

"But it's also a destination for urban refugees seeking a higher quality of life-some  14% of residents walk or bike to work, and the average commute time isjust  13 minutes- with access to greatjobs.  In the past two decades, the city of (now) 42,000 has become a booming hub for high-tech companies and entrepreneurs. Oracle bought local tech giant RightNow Technologies for $1.5 billion in 2011, enabling many former employees (and newly minted millionaires) to launch their own startups. The Bozeman Technology Incubator offers free mentoring to all local tech and manufacturing businesses."

"It's easy to get people to move here from Silicon Valley," says Joe Wakuski, founder of TEXbase, a Bozeman company that streamlines data management for apparel firms. Wakuski's own life also is a powerful recruiting tool: He lives on a spread 13 miles outside of town along the Gallatin River. "In the summer I bike to work and go fly-fishing and kayaking with my son," he says. "In winter we go skiing -either at Big Sky or in the backcountry a mile from my house."

All mountain towns are picturesque, but few compare to Bozeman: Yellowstone lies 90 minutes south, Big Sky is an hour north, and three blue-ribbon fly-fishing rivers -the Gallatin, the Madison, and the Yellowstone -are a short drive away. "When it's warm, there's daylight from 5:30 in the morning to past 10 at night," says Rob Irizarry, another RightNow alum who stayed put. "You can play in the morning and work late, or work early and play in the afternoon. It's Bozeman's idea of flextime. "

Whatever your neighborhood or dayjob,  everyone mingles downtown. "The cowboys, the ski bums, the yoga moms -we all go to the same coffee shops and restaurants, " says
Ambrogi- Yanson. And no matter where you live, says Irizarry, the commute is a breeze: "Rush hour means that instead of taking five minutes to get to work it takes six.

Sheridan, Wyoming

Turn-key:  Acupuncture Practice for Sale

Well-established acupuncture practice for sale in beautiful Sheridan, WY. On the western side of the Big Horn Mountain range, Powder River Acupuncture has been serving Sheridan County since 2006. Sheridan County has a population of approximately 29,000 people.  We also attract patients from neighboring Johnson County, population 8,500, as well as from southern Montana.  There are 2 other licensed acupuncturists in the area.

We have been continuously located in the attractive historical Old Post Office Building in downtown Sheridan.  The office has two spacious treatment rooms and a sizeable reception room, with close access to bathrooms and a laundry room down the hall.

We have earned a reputation for excellent patient care and, as a result, we have a loyal patient base.  That patient base will transfer to the new owner, giving you an opportunity to step into a fully functioning clinic at a price that is well below one year’s disposable income – and give you the foundation to grow the practice further.

Stable cash-based income with four-day work week is producing an exciting upswing in 2018 as more and more of the public are seeking acupuncture and the other modalities we offer. This practice’s income for the first eleven months of 2018 has produced $52,425 acupuncture and $6,260 herbal therapy = $58,685.  Its expenses have been $12,647 – which is 22% of the gross income, therefore considered a practice with less-than-average expense load.

The valuation of this practice is $38,000 and asking price is $28,500 for turn-key purchase, to including:  patient files (109 new patients in the last eighteen months); website; phone number; option to continue location at present rented office ($529/month, which includes all utilities but internet/phone); acupuncture supplies and assortment of patent medicines; some office and treatment room furnishings.  If you wish to provide your own furnishings and equipment, asking price is $25,000. Buyer is responsible for financing. We would be glad to assist the new owner during the transition.

For more information, please email pra[at]actaccess[dot]net and we can set up phone and on-site visits.
