The College Clinic

Southwest Acupuncture College offers a four-year full-time professional degree program leading to a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine and preparation for licensing as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine. Over one third of the 3,000 hours of study in our program is spent in the college clinic where students treat under the supervision of expert American and Asian practitioners.

Because students perform the treatments, and the college is committed to low cost health care, we try to keep our fees as low as possible. However there are costs naturally in running a clinic. The cost of treatment at Southwest Acupuncture College varies. Student intern treatments, performed by second and third year students, cost $27.00 (the first treatment is $24.00). Treatments given by a licensed practitioner with students observing cost $39.00. Herbal consultations where no acupuncture is performed are $14.00 but herbs cost extra.
