Albuquerque Campus

In 1993, Southwest Acupuncture College opened its second campus in Albuquerque, the largest city in New Mexico (approximately 500,000 people.) Coupled with this large population and greater cultural and socioeconomic diversity, are the benefits of a large metropolitan area. Important support systems exist for both students living in Albuquerque and those who might move and practice there, such as lower cost of living, enhanced opportunities for employment, mass transportation, an international airport and busy city life. Environmentally, its mild desert climate, access to skiing, mountains, lakes and rivers, accented by the Rocky Mountains, Rio Grande River and Petroglyph Park make it a magnificent city. Historical Old Town, known for its Native American arts and crafts shops and the world renowned International Balloon Fiesta contribute to the city’s cultural uniqueness. All of these features combined with Southwestern hospitality make Albuquerque a truly enjoyable city.

The option of attendance at Santa Fe or Albuquerque campuses allows students to choose the social and economic features of either a small or a large city, and if schedules permit, students may choose to take classes at both campuses.
